If you ever tuned into one of their streams and asked, they'd explain that the money doesn't go to them individually but rather maintaining and improving the studio. The tiers were shortsighted, but alternative videos that are more immediate than cartoons are on the way.
At the same time they all have other jobs in animation or otherwise that keeps them busy
